  • ‘CANDYFLOSS & UNICORNS’ : IMAGES OF HUTT LAGOON

    Share via:

    Ty Stedman

These images come from an otherworldly landscape some 500km north of Perth, Western Australia. Hutt Lagoon is renowned for an expanse of Pink Salt Lakes that are formed by the bacteria that reside within their waters. The colours and texture change throughout the year, dependent on the water level and bacteria concentration.

The title came to mind due to the surreal and fantastical colours and textures that exist at Hutt Lagoon. The key image of the Collection is titled ‘Pegasus in Pink’, an abstract form that was awarded at the 2018 Western Australian Professional Photography Awards.

All images in the collection are available as Limited Editions in 4 sizes and are printed on archival media.
