    Portraits of Tide Collection

‘Portraits of Tide’ is a series of photographs that encompass the ever-changing relationships between tide and sand in the mid to north west of Western Australia. Known for its contrasts of colour and unique patterns, it is an expansive region that does not fault in providing endless photographic opportunities and adventure.

Images from Shark Bay and the Kimberley regions

Each piece in this collection has been captured from a Cessna aircraft and hand-picked to portray the balance between the two fundamental elements of our land. The images are true in colour and structure that these amazing areas within WA has to offer.

The Shark Bay region is a special place for Ty in which his passion for Aerial Photography really took hold.

The Portraits of Tide Collection features a number of awarded images with a selection having previously been awarded equal seventh for the Australasian Emerging Photographer of the Year 2019, an award that Ty was also awarded first and third place in and overall runner-up.
