‘Pickled Hues’

This image is from my first ever aerial flight that got me hooked on aerial photography. I instantly knew that my photography career would never be the same again. The image was shot from a Cessna high above Useless Loop in remote Western Australia.

The Shark Bay region has rapidly become a mecca for aerial photographers from around the world. Regardless of its popularity, I aim to visit the area at least once per year in search of new images and compositions. The interplay of colour and texture in the region are quite remarkable.
