‘Kanji no shio’ (Kanji on salt) – is a graphical representation of the intrusion of man on the nature environment. The disparity between the salted texture of a yellowed salt lake versus the introduced earth by way of roads that rust into the natural environment. Roads that serve as platforms for gold mining exploratory drilling.
The image is part of the ‘Ordered Abstraction’ collection of work.
