Flying over hundreds of kilometres of open country often presents unexpected and uncommon landscape compositions. This image was one such opportunity en-route to Lake Tekapo and Aoraki National Park. The elevated view of a flock of sheep isolated by a recent dump of snow in the Mackenzie region of New Zealand’s South Island.
