The 12th Pollux Awards by the Photography Gala Awards

The 12th edition of the Pollux Awards received a total of 4220 images for consideration from a total of 682 photographers across a number of categories in both Professional and Non-professional sections. 

The awards were juried by Philip Brookman, the Consulting Curator for the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C.

Results

I am pleased to share that my series ‘Southern Wonderland’ (aka Winter’s Ant Farm) – a study of aerial images taken over New Zealand’s South Island ski fields – was one of four (4) series that received an Honourable Mention in the Landscapes & Seascapes category.

The same series was awarded runner-up as the only Honourable Mention in the Professional Sport Series category.

Exhibition

Selected works of the Winners and Honourable mentions will be an exhibition in Barcelona, Spain during May 2019.
